INPI MARI

Dr. Nojoke's “Inpi Mari” is a minimal techno work about the loss of paradise due to plastic waste.
It is Dr. Nojoke's third EP in a series about fictional islands that are about to sink (after Kakawawa and Oiroa, both on Klangscheiben).
It's no secret that we have a huge problem with plastic waste. However, our societies and economic connections are so complex that it seems almost impossible to avoid.
We have images in our minds of floating plastic carpets the size of entire countries and paradise beaches littered with plastic waste, not to mention the nanoparticles in our food chain.
Inpi Mari sounds chic and aesthetic like plastic from the factory, with seductive grooves, but also sad because of the helplessness and powerlessness.

My track Botok has been released by Bulgarian label Notyourtype on the compilation simply titled Vol. 7.
Furthermore it features great tracks from Kler, Aegun, Mijekke and Oana.

RAND - TEER
rand venture into uncharted territories on Teer.
In their latest release, 'Teer' (engl.: tar), rand unveil two uncompromising extended tracks, 'Teer I - fluid' and 'Teer II - rolled'.
Exuding a technoid and industrial ambience, the EP sees the piano-electro duo of Jan Gerdes and Dr.Nojoke venture into uncharted territories.
‘Teer’ evokes the atmosphere of urban spaces and overlooked places: the profane and seemingly meaningless transitions of car parks, subways and construction sites, where material textures and surfaces are scanned acoustically.
You can hear machines moving and processing the tar, smoothing the ground and forming layers and bead-like thickenings as it transitions from liquid to solid, with the edges fraying in a coordinated manner.
Everything seems deserted and gloomy … with only a few workers behind the machines.
Both pieces were recorded live in one take.

REMIXES #3
Bandcamp exclusive sampler.
For the third time the remixes series compiles six Dr.Nojoke remix works executed for Taylan, Ywi, Sky Jewels, Sebastian Albrecht, Dinamoe (none other than Rico Puestel) and Fellini between 2008 and 2013.
The remixes were originally released on the labels Redukt, Rumpfunk, Mischievous, Fabulesque, Park Recordings and Anarkick.

rand - PERIPHERIE REMIXES EP
I am one half of rand, my collaborational band project with renowned classical and contemporary music pianist Jan Gerdes.
After putting out our debut album Peripheri in September 2022 we are extremely excited to win Steevio, Deadbeat and Andrea Cichecki as remixers, some of the most exciting names in the underground electronic music scene.
I reworked the track Hoola myself so you find four unique versoins blending the piano with electronic sounds.
This limited EP promises to take you on a journey through a spectrum of sounds and emotions.

Contributions is a series I started to collect lost and hidden gems of mine I once released on diverse label compilations.

For the first time I collaborated with somebody else on one track: Da Frate is originally a track from Ghita Liviu, which I overworked in my manner.
The track is being released on the In Your Orbit EP via Clonk Records alongside other fantastic tracks by Clock Poets, Stefano Razzo and Gabriele Mancino.
